The city and municipality of Inca identified the need to implement a new cleaning system for both urban areas and green spaces. Among the authorities’ main goals was to promote environmental responsibility and raise awareness about the importance of caring for public spaces and the natural surroundings.
In collaboration with the Inca City Council, Decópolis developed a proposal that not only encouraged environmental responsibility but also introduced new urban furniture in public rest and recreation areas.
Specifically, the plan included the installation of benches and trash bins made from recycled materials, an increase in recycling points and standard waste bins in urban spaces, and the addition of dog waste bag dispensers.

Relocating and increasing the number of waste disposal points and bins has led to a noticeable improvement in the overall cleanliness of the city. Additionally, the use of recycled materials promotes a responsible image of the municipality and encourages residents to engage in recycling and environmental care. What’s more, the installation of urban furniture aligned with the city’s overall design plan has clearly enhanced the functionality and enjoyment of public spaces.
