The need

Following an increase in class sizes per academic year, Colegio Mestral in Ibiza began renovating its facilities. As part of this effort, the school decided to convert one of its rooftop spaces into a recreational area for preschool children. This solution allowed the school to welcome more students and repurpose unused areas to meet the specific needs of its youngest learners.

Our Solution

At Decópolis, we developed the entire rooftop project, equipping the space with everything from utility systems and safety features to play structures.

Specifically, we installed a Containex module that serves as a storage area and includes restrooms and an osmosis system. We also created several play zones, including a multi-activity play area, rest and learning spaces, and even a zipline. For added safety, we installed colorful impact-absorbing flooring and a perimeter safety net around the entire rooftop.
