As part of its tourism promotion strategy, the Consell of Formentera identified the need to set up an information point in the port that would efficiently serve visitors. This location is key for sharing the island’s cultural and natural heritage with travelers.
As experts in implementing urban equipment in public spaces, and after assessing the most effective location, we at Decópolis chose to install a Habana model kiosk adapted to house the local Tourist Information Office. It also includes a storage space and was connected to the port’s existing fiber optic network. The selected materials are highly resistant to humidity and the marine environment.

The Habana module allows for a mobile tourist office, ideal for seasonal and temporary use. Additionally, it features a galvanized steel frame treated at the end of the construction process and HPL panels, making Habana a durable, weather-resistant structure perfectly suited to Formentera’s climate.
With the new tourist office installed at the port, the Consell of Formentera now has a strategic information point to support tourism services and promotion on the island. The choice of strong, efficient materials also allows for flexibility in relocating the office based on future institutional needs.
