Need

The Ibizan municipality of Sant Josep is planning to renovate infrastructure and urban furniture on several beaches and coves as part of improving public services offered in various tourist hotspots.

Our Solution

As part of the project to improve the beaches and coves of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, we developed a plan to upgrade and add to both existing equipment and new elements. Key actions included installing four lifeguard towers at Cala Vedella, Cala Tarida, Playa d’en Bossa, and Cala Bassa; replacing 100 linear meters of boardwalk pilings at Cala Vedella; setting up large-scale recycling points on the municipality’s beaches; installing a first aid module at Es Bol Nou; and designing lifeguard stations for Cala Bassa and Cala Compte.
